My soil is 100% horse manure. I have straw piled around my plants which I am removing ahead of new growth daily. I found a snail under one pile. If I trench and bury in manure will I have a problem with snails eating my vines? My "manure" soil is light and easy for them to set down roots. With this situation is it necessary to trench and bury? If I should bury.....do you bury leaves and all???
