Subject: Setting fruit on secondaries

When setting fruit on secondaries is it better to set it on a side vine close to the stump or futher down. Also, I assume it would be best to pollinate the pumpkin on the secondary 8-12 feet out? I know it's a really busy time for everyone but I appreciate any responses! :)

There really aren't any established guildlines on where to pollinate on secondaries.... I would say ... where ever you can.... keep track of them and keep the fastest grower.
