I am growing casper pumpkins and my question is do i keep them growing on their sides or do i stand them up. Sorry if this question seems stupid i have never grown pumpkins before.

On their side is fine. If you try to stand them up you may break the vine...Chris

TRY RAISED ROW.MAKE YOUR ROW FOLLOW THE WAY THIS YEARS PLANTS GREW. AS PUMKINS GROW OFF TO THE SIDES YOU CAN DIG OUT A LITTLE SOIL, AND STAW OR FOAM BOARD A "CUP", FOR EACH PUMPKIN.AS THE SIDE VINES GROW YOU CAN ROW UP THINGS. DONT USE TREATED LUMBER OR RAIL TIMBERS,,,NOT IF YA WANT TO LIVE WELL.
