the female is pointing up from the vine do I try to move the vine?

as she ages the perkiness will go away, at least that is my experience

The young female should be pointing up. If the pollination was successful it will slowly lower itself to the ground as it grows. Do not turn the vine- let gravity do the work.

Yes my stem is curled upward it drops a little each day.I dont touch the fruit.I have clumsy fingernails.LOL
