Opened up the flower at the end of day two to see this...

I'm still pretty new at this...is this normal? Very wet here...rain for two straight days.

Looks OK, just needs to dry out.

After pollination, I always cover the freshly pollinated baby pumpkins/flower with an umbrella or some sort of shade and rain protection to prevent water or moisture from entering the flower and letting things dry out.

Wait a few days, if she swells up, looks real shiney...then it is pollinated and growing!!
