Help. I have two different AG plants. A 1230 and a 1048X1007. On both of the main vines I have one pumpkin set. I measure daily. I watched as one slowed its growth and has been stagnant at 59" circ. for 5 days. Is it done? Appearance is still good. Now on the other plant I am watching it slows to 1" circ. growth per day (for 3 days)also. The plants appear healthy and I am getting good vine growth. Could this one be headed for the same fate? If so, what may be wrong?

Been there, done that. Have you been using a systemic insecticide for the control of bacterial wilt?

I have not used any fungicides as yet. Would these fungii be in the plant or the dirt near my plant? How would a fungicide be applied? Thank you.

I planted some "AG" and two of mine stopped at "60" or so. Done everything to it like my cucurbita which is doing great.

Sorry Kilr, did you mean insecticide or fungicide? Not using either though. Will get some in the morning.

Chip,
In the past, I had many that stopped growing in August/early Sept. Could be many things, but I put most of the blame on the cucumber beetle and bacterial wilt. If you do have it, not much can be done. Wilt can take 6 weeks to show up in the plant. Do you have any signs of disease or wilting?
