Hey Owen, according with the information provided in the AGGC.com, I think it could be designed as XXX Olsen 03 DMG. As Mike N. says:
Damaged (DMG) - Ok, here's where the controversial, new stuff comes in. I would like to propose a DMG designation to those pumpkins that were NOT sound but were still weighed on a certified scale. Pumpkins that split or developed holes or other abnormalities but were still in good enough shape to be transported to a scale and weighed would fall into this category. I'm sure there will be plenty of them. There's tons (literally) of pumpkins every year that fall apart in the home stretch and need to be weighed and recognized with an accurate weight. I believe a DMG classification would allow for that.

Good Reasoning. Been to only one weigh in but saw classification for Exhibitiion Only. Was very pleased to see one realtively young young man show a sneaky little hole to the authorities.

Owen...that would be an UOW fruit and it would be best to add under comments..." Blossom end split 8-12-03 at day 47after 4 inches of rain etc.."..the more info the better (if its good info). Unfortunately, without reputable witnesses and proper scale cert proof it will be treated as an uow....even though its correct. Damaged would indicate it was dropped, or eaten, or I fell on it while trimming leaves etc....splits would not be considered damaged in my opinion, probably a language translation thing. Anyone serious about growing a seed would grill you about it anyway..the more info the better.......great job btw....G

Well, I appreciate everyones input on this. I guess if I describe it as G has suggested, I will let everyone else decide if it should be DMG or UOW. All I really want to know is how much it weighs. BTW, I am not really sure why it split. We had temps between 95-105 for over 3 straight weeks, no rain at all, I watered everyday, growth was actually slowing down at the time. Went from 20 plus a day to just over 10 a day for the last couple of days before it split. And thanks G, I am very happy with it. It may not be a record breaker, but it is over 400 pounds heavier then I have ever grown before.
