OK !!! my 10 yrds of manor is tilled in. the garden lookes like i used a big blender in it.... what a job. 3 long days of tilling. (pushing the tiller thru it) because it is soooooo fluffy. my rear tine counter rotating tiller realy got a work out. what next besides leaves and grass clippings? how about egg shells ???? I can get them from the local rest.

Egg shells are a good source of calcium. Though they'll take a while to release it. Why not though?
Did you soil test for pH & nutrients?

When I have a large number of egg shells I get out the blender and wizz 'er up to fast. Can do half a ten quart bucket full in half an hour. This slurry poured into the garden or compost distributes nicely. I suspect that the earthworms come up and consume it quickly. I have never had any problems with it attracting animals. It may even be an odor deer do not like. The base in Deer Off is rotten egg odor and pepper slurrys.
