Hey guys...I see a lot of you apply sulfur to prevent rot. I recently bought some lab grade, almost pure sulfur...is this typically what you apply or do you usually buy a product specifically for gardening applications? I don't want to dust the stem and then come back to a puddle, haha.

My plant sulfer is 90% Packaged for gardening. Don't know if 10% more would make a diference

Thanks for the reply Darren! I figure it's all right then...just glad no one chimed in with 'mine's 50%' or something. Off to the patch I go.

Sulfur is Sulfur where the plant is concerned. The only difference with 'Lab grade' sulphur is that it will cost more.... 1. because it probably undergoes more costly purification and 2. simply because it's intended for industry so mark up is higher.
