Hey guys my 3 week old pumpkin 2036 glacier is starting to turn yellow on the edge of the leaves and turning a light green color all together am i over watering which I don't think is the case but I'm using advanced nutrience fertilizer so am I maybe burning g the plant none of my other plants have this issue

Its right at 6.5 I didn't ferlize or watered for 2 days now and its already looking a lot better

You should lay off ferts whith young plants like that or at least go easy with a light fish drench as an example.

I agree..I didn't do to much to the young plant last year...I think just fish fert one ir two times the first three weeks in the dirt...let the roots search for water now...once the the "train starts Rollin", hit w Nutes...last year I let the AN sit a little while to let the auto ph adjusters work..the voodoo juice will always be in my garden...good luck and posts some pics , it's good to see problem plants and how they come back once corrected...

What are the overnight temps? Temps below 50 degrees will shut down nitrogen absorption. Several of us in Vermont have had that happen because the soil temp was too low.

What is your location? Unless you are way down south it is way too early to have a three week old plant. Like Steve said the nitrogen is probably locked up, the light color and yellowing of the leaf edges is typical of this. I won't even be starting my seeds for three more weeks.

Vodoo Juice & Companion are both bacillus.I believe Companion is only 1 strain.The Voodoo juice has several strains.My new Root Keeper also contains bacillus.

Saxtin Where are you growing at? Sounds like your soil has not warmed up & how are you watering this young plant?If you make up a full dose of ferts & dump it on a small area it will be way to much for the plant to take.

Example. Bubba mixes up 1 gallon of miracle grow & dumps on a spot 2 feet x 2 feet = 4 sg feet. This 1 gallon mix was intended for 2x5 spot 10 sq feet.So its better to do 1/4 strength doses on small plants.Even later on I Think trickle feed is best!! Giant Pumpkin Growers dont let there friends mix full strength & Grow!!
