Hi I am a new grower and noticed my plant is not vining. The foliage is growing huge with leaves twice the size of my hand. Is there a reason my plant isn't vining out? Much needed advice please

I am no expert but I would give it time. My plants are only about a foot long..vining and the leaves are at least 8 times my hand size.

We need more information. Pictures also help us to make a more likely answer as well. How old is the plant? How many true leaves do you have? Is it still in a pot? How big was it when you set it out? What is soil temp? What are high and low temps in your area? Did you do any soil prep? Are you watering it? (how much) Are you feeding it? (how much)
But based on your description of leaves are twice as big as your hands, my guess is that the plant has about 4 true leaves and is about 2 to 3 weeks old. If this is the case the next set of leaves coming out of the center will be the beginning of your vine.
Depending on climate, soil fertility, soil temp, root mass, and plant health, this can take as long as 2 more weeks before it lays down and is vining in a way that you are expecting.

Most likely you need to shade the plant, as you new growth is getting burnt
