Hi, I've had my pumpkin covered with a tarp most of the season. Is there a point when I should remove it, or should I leave it on until the very end?

the tarp wont allow the pumpkin to warm up if your having cool weather if you cover with a sheet during a sunny day it will warm it up, some even remove the sheet periodically to allow the sun to hit the skin

Now its a job...cover with sheet during the day... cover up with blankets for the night...so far we had a record low of 46 last week, but today to be 94... All dependZ ... Its about location, location, location...do whats best..for your area to keep them packing on poundZ.

So the idea is to keep it warm during the night? Will a bit of sun hitting the skin during the day slow growth? { harden skin}
