How deep is the crack?...on the kin or the stem?...lol.. 900lbs...u must be freakin out a little...if it's mending I woukd guess go back to what you were doing...if u know you have enough nitrogen, don't give it any more...good luck orv...more pics too!!

Keep the plant evenly waterered or it will surge too much if you get a good rain. Slow and steady is the way to go-water even don't dry the patch significantly.

Just saw pics.. That's a beauty ya got there.. That looks like growth split ... U were prolly right to back off the water a tad...shoot for even moisture from here on out like Conor says.. Looks like you'll ne over 1000 soon...way to grow!

Those cracks are normal -- nothing to worry about at all. http://www.bigpumpkins.com/Diary/DiaryViewOne.asp?eid=246748

Keep it steady, don't let up on the gas (water/feeding) or is will falter.

Another note after looking at your crack again, no need to pack those with fungicide. If left alone they will scar up (look close at the older cracks on the pic I posted -- they are completely healed and filled in with scars, just keep em dry.
