Since there appears to be a good number of first year growers on the site, I thought it would be interesting to compile a list of our accomplishments. I think that Carlos will blow everyone away with his success as a first year grower (way to go Carlos and wife) but am interested how the rest of us did.
My family managed a 577.5 lb and a 511 lb on the same plant which was a seed from a 700-900# Dill.
Once we have a bunch of numbers, I'll send out a follow-up posting with the results.

A 710 est and a 410 on a split stem. More important the soil went to 17.7 UM and PH of 6.7 with all other elements improving. First time I ever got a soil test and the reccommendation that I not add any more stuff.

i got 5 nice pumpkins, my biggest in the 350-400lbs area. i used 700-900# dill aswell. found them at canadian tire and thought i would giv'em a try. i figured i would put them in the ground and forget about them till the fall, lol. good thing i found this site or i would of been mighty disapointed come harvest time.
mike.

Just a 141.5 and a 115 UOW on the same plant. The 141.5 stopped growing in mid-August so I let the 115 grow. I just used seeds from Stokes. Now I know better. Alan
