How many DAP can you feel safe that your kin is not going to abort. I have 2 plants and 2 sets on each plant I have 1 on each plant that have made it to 7 and 9 DAP. The other 2 are at 3 DAP (1 on each plant). All are gaining daily. Should I keep pollinating and if so how many more? At one point should I make a decision on my final 2 keepers? Going to post some pics in my dairy from yesterday of my 2 oldest kins. They are definitely different shape from each other. Which is more preferred? Any and all thoughts greatly appreciated.

Last year I thought I was good at day 20 and day twenty three it started to show signs of mold and was gone within the week. I don't think we're ever safe.

Pollinate all on the main vine...don't take a chance in case something goes wrong ...usually safe by day 20...mike should wait til day 25... I grew 2 to day 20 last year then made a choice...I like the shape and maybe more importantly, the position of the second pic ... They both look like they took though....oh baby !!.. Here we go!!!!!!
