I've got a real bad habit of being on the lake fishing by 5 AM. Bass are still biting like crazy!! Pushing 20 lbs of fillets..almost enough for my fish fries. I'm off the lake and home by nine. Looking for pollination protection.I don't want to cook my kins in a bag. Has anybody used a fine mesh netting to keep unwanted insects out? Other alternatives?

I did make little bags of horticultural fleece, which I used initially. But in the end, I found it easier and quicker just to tie the ends of the males and females with string before they opened. When ready the tips pucker out from the string line, you know you're good to go.
