I was wondering if there were any serious growers in Missouri. Can't find any on the web and very few active on BP. If there are growers I would like to start a club and give the east coasters a run. I know missouri isn't in the "golden belt" but there is no reason we couldn't try.

Lots of giant maters in Mo I see pics on garden groups I'm in but not kins. Are you competing at pumpkin daze in republic mo? As far as I know it's the only GPC event in Missouri. If so I'd love to show you what we have going in somo.

I am on facebook. I don't think i'll compete in Republic, but I probably will go down for it. I just took my biggest one to the fair yesterday. It came in at 232. I was more interested in growing the Prizewinner variety, so those obviously don't get as big. I still have some prizewinners going pretty strong and one more off the plant that I took the 232 from. Its an PW and AG hybrid, so we'll see how much that one can do for the rest of the year. feel free to send me a message about facebook!
