Don't know if this is the right place to ask the question, but going to anyway. I want to buy a new rototiller for the tractor. Have a 38 HP John Deere. Looking at LandPride models. Anyone have experience/suggestion for me? Will use for pumpkin patch but also for other gardening, food plots, etc. Don't know about forward tine or reverse tine, size, etc. Looking at Land Pride's website and they have a million models. Thought I would see if anyone uses one over here since all my questions always get answered.

Thanks!

See if you can find one that adjust down to till 12 inches deep.

And make sure it's wider than the tractor tires.

Go to mid state equipment talk to ken he is the branch sales manager tell him Garry the window man sent you in..... I think you will get a better deal.. I bought my tractor and all of the attachments there... everything has been great and they have a top notch service department. I have the John deer tiller 73 inches my tractor has the down force kit which allows me to add 500 pounds of down force on the 3 point which means I can push my tiller in the ground and till very deep very very deep...

I used a reverse till which was nice but the forward till goes way deeper
Reverse till will drag rocks along and when u pick it up it leaves all the rocks in a big pile I don't like to pick rocks

Thanks for reply's. I bought one from St. Lawrence and so far seems to work well. Will see how it does in the patch - I think we are getting about 9-10 inches deep right now.
