Does anybody know of a systemic treatment for downy mildew that isn't expensive? I have plenty of contact fungicide that should work on downy mildew I just can't find a reasonably priced systemic one. It's gonna be hard to explain to the wife that I'm buying a 300 dollar fungicide.

Verhoff, I would try this http://www.hollandsgiants.com/fosphite.html My son uses this on his giant squashes Christopher24. Make sure to use it according to the directions - AND DO NOT APPLY IN DIRECT SUNLIGHT!
