I'm new at this , I got some seeds and I don't know what they mean? Could someone tell me what they mean. thanks

Generally, you get a seed like 1024 pukos 02. the first number would be the weight of the pumpkin "or squash" the name is the last name of the grower and the last number is the year it was grown.

if it is a "or squash" like he said it'll have a * by it usually

There could also be letters after the year. Such as:
845 Bobier '00 UOW
845 lbs.....Bill Bobier.....2000.....UnOfficial Weight. Meaning it wasn't weighed at a GPC sanctioned event but it was weighed. Other abreviations are:
"EST" for estimated. Taped not weighed "DMG" for damaged. "UOW" Unofficial weight. Weighed on non official scale.
No abreviation following the year would indicate the fruit was weighed on an official scale at a GPC sanctioned event.
