One of my sprouts has three main leaves. I was wandering what the frequency of this is.

Do you mean cots? The first leaves that appear? If so, I believe, typically, that is bad news. I've had it happen, it turned out to be a ribbon vine. Wait for other responses, but you may want to start a backup if you have one.

i do not recall, other than the seeds that i myself mention,
having had any trouble BEYOND the 3 seed leaves evident on any particular plant, except maybe those 772.2 Poiriers.

the only mutations that have ever become beneficial are the ones that had a chance. we should all go and look in the mirror, lol----eg---ooohhh, bad idea.

This sprout is getting a true leaf. So I will let it go and see what happens.

i have 3 out of 4 of my 100 est. seed (746 Snyder X 689.5 Sandercock) that always produces SUPER-orange fruit that are OK but have very paltry/tiny/what the hell is that?-looking 1st true leaves - the one 'good' one i'll be giving to a friend and so i'll have to grow out 1-3 of the others if i want those fruits...so, i'll be practicing what i preach for sure! eg good luck.
