I have a pumpkin started on the main vine that is growing pretty aggressively, but has a short stem. I have two others on the plant that are shaped nicely, and have really thick long stems. One of them is on the first secondary vine, the other is on the fourth secondary. Which one should I keep?

The main vine fruit will get bigger,it depends on your goal.If your after the heaviest possible go with it.
