This is the first time that I have encountered splits this year. I've read about the deeper ones, but after 2 days of rain, these appear to be shallower growth related splits.
What is the best course of action to take? It looks like others have already healed up, should I expect for these to do the same?
The splits are very shallow. My second pumpkin has them on the stem side (pic is still loading) while this larger one is all blossom end.

Keep it dry, those are fine and a good sign it was still growing.

Dust them with Sulfur powder and put a fan on it.
