When you guys transplant pumpkins into the ground what do you usually add to the hole? Ive read of azos, mykos, and vitamin but are there any other amendments you guys like to add?

I threw a roadkill deer under my pb. Lol. But let me make this clear: I am one of the people you are not supposed to listen to (my personal best is not even 800 lbs). Weak sauce here...

Do you have a soil test? If you have everything balanced correctly you won’t need much. Everything you said is good get you some wow starter packs and you’ll be set

Unless you have about 10 years of doing soil test I would highly recommend you get one before you spend any money on any additives.

Without a soil test we're all in the dark it is very hard for us to tell you what to do to make your soil better. https://pss.uvm.edu/ag_testing/How_to_Take_a_Soil_Sample.pdf

best money you'll ever spend.

Thumbs up emoji- western labs give you recommendations on what to put down on 1000 sqft. Post your test results when u get them and people here can help.. good luck. Leaf mulch won’t hurt if it’s broken down but I’d prolly want to see what the soil looks like before adding. Good luck.

Check out Logan labs, right here in Ohio, you can see my results in last years diary. Porkchop, Jake, and BillF won't steer ya wrong.

Waypoint Analytical is another lab. Their recommendations are not for giants, but posting your test in your diary and asking for help will get you all the answers you need.

To answer your original question, what I add has nothing to do with my soil test. I usually add Azos, Mykos, rootshield and worm castings. I also will add 2 WOW Super Starter Paks to each hole this year. Then water in with fish and seaweed.

Not really in the hole, but I water mine with an imidacloprid product
