Happy Easter to everyone. It has been suggested that I try better seed than the ones I got from the Gurney's catalog, so I'm asking...does anyone have seed that might be better suited to my high & dry climate? July & August can be brutal, 90-95 degrees & no clouds for a hundred miles! I'm only going to grow 2 plants due to limited space. We may have water restrictions again this summer too. Although I should be able to supply 1" per week. Any help to stack the deck in my favor would be appreciated. Thanks, Terry

Remember that 1" of water on a 600 square foot patch is about 375 gallons.

Terry, send me an email, (i'll give you my address), and then send me a self addressed stamped bubble mailer and i'll get some seeds out to you. I guarantee this wont be the first offer, you're going to have more seeds than you know what to do with. If you have water restrictions, and hot days, you might want to try mulching to keep the moisture in the ground, and using a shade cloth.
good luck Scott
