            | pumpkinpal2 | Syracuse, NY | With any plant - Mine are in basically clear coffee cups (since they are free) and are of course very rootwound (my new term); Hence, I'm looking to hear what anyone does as far as untangling, maybe your special amendment(s) to get the plant(s) established quickly and such things. I used to do peat pots and the roots would be somewhat damaged in removing them but I could also stretch them out in the process - same here, but...Well, any comments are welcome!---eg

            | Little Ketchup | Grittyville, WA | I thought bone meal helped me this year but I might have added some other things too. I haven't ever tried to unwind or untangle the roots. Maybe it would help but obviously if they get damaged there could be some transplant shock for a few days. I like the idea of using clear containers. You might have to switch drinks to Tampico or something that comes in a large clear container. I would cut it in half and set it on its side... and cut or drill some holes for drainage. I know you are not a new grower. But when it comes to new ideas, where can a person post, right? | 6/11/2022 1:14:03 AM |
            | pumpkinpal2 | Syracuse, NY | Right here, man! FYI - I have 3 of Ms. Warty on deck to go into widely-spaced, random spots over the next day or so. Right after 2 1385 H/Js. I'm THAT far behind, lol---eg | 6/11/2022 2:36:46 AM |
