I was wondering if anyone had some seeds that could produce a very vibrant orange pumpkin. i am not really looking for anything huge on size. i would be perfectly happy with something 400-500 pounds. thanks for your help!

Something with the 801.5 Stelts in it's background seems to have the best odds of producing very nicely colored fruit, but no matter what seed you choose it appears to still be a crap shoot as to what you will get. There has been so much cross breeding amongst AG plants with the main objective being weight, it is very difficult to find a seed that will consisently produce for color.

Maybe try an AG cross? You would be welcome to a few of my 120 Frantz seeds. They are Big Max X 922.5 Emmons. Both are very orange and offspring could make 400 lbs. Or if you want a better chance for size, maybe try the 208 Little. It is 120 Frantz X 940 Mombert 98...Should be very orange and large.... we will soon find out!!! If you need some contact me at Walcottpumpkin@aol.com
