My plants are just beginning to vine and are probably not even 2 feet long yet. There are already a lot of flower buds. Should I remove these flower buds?

personally, i'd wait till after fruit is set. Let the plant grow. If you do decide to remove the males, INSURE, you save some or have some source of pollen when the females show up. I know a grower this year that was " up the creek" because no males around (from prunning) when the females showed up.

I would never ever remove any male flower before pollination is done.
