My name is Crystal and Im growing pumpkins for the first time! I really just want to get a couple to make it so I can carve them for Halloween.
The ones I have are some seeds out of a huge jack-o-lantern from last year. I bought the pumpkin from a farmers market. soo who knows what im gonna get but they are on the light side..

Good luck to ya. If you are still interested this fall, there are plenty of people on this website that will send you seeds for the BIG ones for the price of postage. Have fun.

Wilkommen from Germany! Hope you have a fun season this year and get your halloween pumpkins to grow.
I would just like to suggest a few things like watering with lukewarm water, go easy on chemical fertilizers and try to protect your plants if you can. Those were my biggest mistakes when I first started growing pumpkins.

Thank you for the warm welcome. Im already a pumpkin head when it comes to halloween. I will usually carve up between 13 and 20 pumpkins. Growing some this year was a sad attempt to make my halloween experiance longer..lol
Im going to make a web page for my pumpkin carving and I thought it would be fun to have pictures going from seedlings to Jack-o-lanterns. (so sad I know..lol)
I will try for some big ones next year but this year I just want them to grow..Im looking forward to all the wonderful info and other stuff on this board.. I cant wait to see peoples pictures eather!!
