Over the past week, some of the leaves at the base EACH of the plants have yellowed and died. The rest of the vine is healthy, green and producing flowers like crazy. :-) I can't find any signs of infestation. The weather has been quite humid and wet. I used Miracle Grow about 1 1/2 weeks ago so I doubt it is lack of nourishment. Is this normal for pumpkin vines? Could it simply be too much water? Could it be a disease? What else could cause this? Trying not to panic, but wanting to understand so I can adjust as needed. :-) Thanks for your input.

Are these some of the first leaves that developed on your plant? If so, then it could be the natural process that most plants go through. As the get older and weather beaten they naturally die off. If you are talking about near the stump or crown (for Steve) then it may not be a bad thing as that area should be fairly clear of leaves by now to provide good air circulation. A lot of growers intentionally remove these leaves.

Thanks Owen. LOL
Could also be Powdery Mildew. Do a Google Image search for more picturs of PM than most of us want to see. Just in case.
