Hey,
This is probably a dumb question, but should I go ahead and cut away the leaves that are right "on top" of the female blossom I am pollinating tomorrow? Yeah, I know it's way late to pollinate to, but why let a season go to waste....besides all the learning that I did.

Should I do it?

I like to leave them until they threaten to scar the fruit when the leaves blow in the wind. This offers the emryo a little shade. Plus if the fruit aborts the leaf is still part of the "food factory".
