I was wondering if i damaged my pk when i put some plactic underneath it my thumbnail put a a couple of indention and scrapes on it if i just gonna have a scar on there or is it gonna really hurt it

it wont hurt it that much, it will heal, just put on some ground to stop the bleeding, or captan, i just use ground as it is always healed up the next day

it will heal no problem, I had one I scraped with my metal baseball cleats when i was trying to step over it. it was about 3 inches long and deep too. It healed up fine after I put captans on it.

ok thanks i got a stupid question 2 i guess if they didnt pollinate they wouldnt grow at all would they i had one big max just grow a 1/2 in and the first one to pollinate grew 3 1/8 in in 28 hours do they start out slow right after polln. then pick up ?

That is dangerous Sly! Metal baseball cleats!!! I was told a story about… I believe it was Steve Daletas' 1,385. He actually threw a piece of rebar in the patch and it hit his pumpkin! Lucky it hit sideways instead of sticking in. I guess you could see the impression of the rebar on the pumpkin!!! We all forget sometime and do some crazy stuff in the patch!
