Garden State Pumpkins

I'm guessing everyone here has tried everything when it comes to saving the pumpkin...but from what I can see the most successful methods is captan and a fan to dry out the area that is rotting....keep the rain off it with a tarp and dry out the rot as best as possible....good luck with it..Chuck

In the shade - PDX, OR

Once air reaches the internal cavity it is only a matter of time before the fruit rots.

The fruit might still grow but it will eventually stop and you will have a stinking rotten mess.
