I had some late season growth(really late) and had a split in the middle of the pumpkin between two of the ribs. it feels kinda soft around there and was wondering if it is ok regarding weigh in rules that this type of sealant can be used. i only have a 10 days till weigh off and don't want to be disqualified for using this. i have not put it on yet but would like to.. any thoughts??

sounds like exhibition only so seal it and try to make it but that doesn't sound good....might be through to the cavity already..

thanks, looks like it is healing a little but could be a season ender with only days to go.. we'll see.
