we had twenty six gpc sites weigh off over the last month and all indications are we will add many more for the 2006 season
most of the twenty six were on board with the gpc/bp program and it was a smashing success
with the pending addition of more sites im sure ken and john will be even more involved
i cant begin to tell you good folks how many hours ken and john put into getting this program ready for the bulk of our weigh off season all this in addition to maintaining the web sites various sections that we all benefited from
i think its time ken and john were rewarded for there efforts on all our behalfs
with all they are trying to accomplish im sure additional revenue is needed
im asking all gpc site coordinators, club representatives, independent sites and bp.c users to consider sending a donation to further the sites service and capabilities

Dick, I agree with you 100%. I will be the first to admit that the amount of time that I spend on this website is well worth a donation for John and Ken to use in any way they seem fit. I recall at one time there was a paypal account that one could use to do this donation process, but I am not positive. Perhaps John or Ken could post how I could go about making my small donation to their fantastic efforts.

Just my 2 cents. But I was wondering if a number of clubs and growers get together and have a seed auction, where the proceeds from this be donated to the site. I am sure there is a number of growers willing to donate seeds to this cause. Again, just my thoughts. John

John,
That is also a good idea. I am still interested in donating using paypal. I will send John and Ken an email.

YEA! A BIGPUMPKINS.COM SEED AUCTION! sounds great! With all the people that use this site I bet there would be a good many seeds donated. Ill bet alot of people would rather donate a good seed for a auction then send money, especially if they are not going to grow it.,I would think you could raise more money that way also,Ill be happy to help out as needed if you decide to do it,and pay pal is a excellent idea.I bet we could make it one of the biggest auctions we have ever seen on this site.

I am in. These guys do a great job of running this site. A seed auction would be awesome.

the sngpg has a membership /seed sale/ bonus seed give away coming soon on bp
we will donate 10 percent of the gross back to bp and would hope other sites that hold auctions and other fundraising here would do like wise its the fair and right thing to do
free does not really mean free if your on the operational end of this pumpkin site im sure ken and john have spent quite a bit out of pocket so we could all have a place to air our gripes, concerns and conversations
