The Rainy River Ontario, Canada Giant Pumpkin Festival completed its 13th Annual event, Sat Sept 15. Although weights were down from last year's record 1173 lb entry, last year's winner, Ben Johnson of Kakabeka Falls, ON, was again champion with a 902 lb entry. Over 40 pumpkins were entered.
