After reading all the slogans I would like to ask if we could start to narrow it down. It would be great to find 3-4 slogans for all to get this fall at your local GPC sites. I will start by listing some that caught my eye.

Pumpkin growers do it their patch
The GPC growing the world 1 patch at a time
The GPC vining out to help our growers
GPC setting the standards of record breaking pumpkin weigh-offs world wide.
GPC setting the standards of excellence since 1992
October is the biggest month of the year
We make our dirt rich
GPC with pumpkins size does matter
Plant something small and grow something big
Letting our inner child out to play in the dirt
Giant pumpkins the xtreme sport of gardening
GPC a legacy built on growing giant pumpkins and a commonwealth of knowledge we all share.
Addicted to growing giant pumpkins and like it
Where obsessive compulsive is cool
follow me and I will show how big mine is

I hope to not offend anyone by not listing your idea but this is going to get alot more difficult. Feel free to add your choice(s) and add any slogan you feel should be in the final mix.

I think it should make it obvious to non-growers what the GPC is about.

I agree, I think it should be obvious that the GPC is about pumpkin growing without having to read the fine print.

Obvious and funny.

It would also be neat to have some novelty bumper stickers that aren't necessarily the GPC slogan. There were a ton of them on there that would be neat to have.

I think we're going way over the top with the text.

Keeping in mind we'll start with the GPC logo, the won't be room for more than 20-25 characters on a single line. We can always go with two lines but at some point the message will become impossible to read.

still one of the best slogans i ever heard. originally thought of by dick "the hammer" baird from ovgpg.
a great contributor to the hobby, it read.

Phil is on to a very important point. What is the idea behind the slogan? Promote the GPC? Promote Giant Pumpkin growing? Promote sponsors? Or, if all of those reasons do not mean anything then simply promote fun between ourselves?

I would leave the GPC out of the picture all together. My first response on the other post was my gut feeling. This response is more on the growing giants side.
