Sorry for the late response to the final slogan selection. Here are the finalists this was very hard to finalize with such a large number of great slogans. Please vote for 2 of your favorites only please and I will announce the winner(s) at weeks end. The GPC logo will be on every bumper sticker so we have decided to leave GPC off of the print to save on letters.

1) The standard of excellence since 1992
2) One world united by pumpkins
3) The Xtreme sport of gardening
4) Grow'em big & wide & show with pride
5) The BS stops when the tail gate drops
6) Who's your pollinator?
7) Growing for a bigger tomorrow
8) With pumpkins size does matter
9) We make our dirt rich
10) Vining out to help our growers

The GPC executive committee would like to thank all of those who have contributed to helping us find a slogan!!!!

Last up date, voting will be totaled Saturday morning and I will post the winner(s). Here is what I have counted so far:

1) #3-33 votes "The Xtreme sport of gardening"
2) #5-26 votes "The BS stops when the tail gate drops"
3) #8-20 votes "With pumpkins size does matter"
4) #2-15 votes "One world united by pumpkins"
5) #7-10 votes "Growing for a bigger tomorrow"

I will limit the vote count to the 5 listed so please vote you still have time!!! While looking at the slogans and reading your replies I think these would make good T-shirts if PAP would render some drawings to go with the slogan. What do you think about T-shirts like that for Niagara?

I almost forgot to vote, after a very hard decision I like #2 I feel it says it all and #5 this was the favorite saying of Dick Baird I am sure he would approve.

Well the votes are in and the top vote getter was... drum roll... The Xtreme sport of gardening with 38 votes.

Honorable mention goes to... The BS stops when the tail gate drops 34 votes (very close), With pumpkins size does matter 22 votes, and One world united by pumpkins 19 votes.

It was pretty obvious the top 4 separated themselves from the rest of the pack so the Executive Committee decided to go with the top 4 for print. These will be sent out if done in time to all of the $300 GPC sites in limited quantities to be distributed to the growers. Each site will decide how they distribute the bumper stickers. Most of the bumper stickers will be made available for purchase on the GPC web site and we will have details when that is up and running.

Thank you for helping us out and supporting the GPC!!!
