The 2009 edition of the IGVGC promises to be bigger and better than ever with the continuation of the supportive grants provided by the GPC devoted to grower education. These funds are provided by the GPC’s current fund raising campaigns.

The GPC is raising funds to help educate and recognize grower achievements, while developing the Convention further into an educational venue for growers of all skill levels. The GPC strives to better help all clubs and growers by fostering a stronger unified Commonwealth. Directly involved in the 2009 Niagara Convention (IGVGC) and organizing guest speakers while aiding financially with the annual event. The GPC is always looking for ways to better educate growers and recognize outstanding achievements by growers and clubs.

Now that she is Governor of Alaska again and it will be between salmon runs and hunting season her availability should be pretty good. We will be contacting her people (mostly Eskimos) to see if she would like to participate in our seminar. Word has it she is really intrigued by the midnight patch tour!!!

I seen him here in Chicago a couple years back. The seminar he did was pretty basic. I don't know what he has planned, but if you get him to talk more about "microbes" benefiting giant pumpkins, It will be more of a crowd pleaser. Great guy and great book. I got mine autographed
