1st Annual GPC, Hall OF Fame Friendship Seed Auction Week in Support of OAF.

The GPC week long event is packed full of events. This Sunday begins the web based auction which ran so well last year. Three multi lot web board auctions right here on the GPC message board start on Sunday and end on Wednesday January 30th.

The GPC is pleased to announce that donations will be awarded to the Orange Angels Foundation (OAF) and Big Pumpkins.com (BP.com). All other funds will be used to support the annual International Giant Vegetable Growers Convention and new educational initiatives.

The kick off events include additional web based auction lots posted here beginning Sunday Night January 21st and continuing in 3 phases until January 30th. You are all welcomed to bid and comment about your growing expeirences in the message board as we post each seed lot. Yet to come are some of the finest seeds available today. Check back here on Sunday evening after the completion of the Pacific Northwest auction.

The first round of web board auction lots went very well. Thanks to all who have helped the GPC fund raising week.

New web board auction lots will be posted later today.

The main GPC Big Pumpkin auction begins tonight at 8 pm Est with Andy Wolfe as Host supported by John Vincent and Jim Sherwood & Joe Scherber. Rumour has it that pap will be in the house to lend us a hand too.
