Grower of the year, we already have 3 growers putting 1 pumpkin over 1,500#'s on the scale do you have a favorite? What do you think the 3 pumpkin weight will be to win?

We have already have a new watermelon world record any other world records going down and whom?

Who is going to be the new rookie of the year, best top ten, most improved top ten?

Are you ready for some pumpkins!!!!

Don took pity on Quinn by having a rough year so he could get the GOTY back. I go with Quinn.

Scott all you have to do is grow the biggest fruit from a first year grower. The last 3 years it took a pumpkin of 1,400#'s plus to win just ask Reuben Frias he won last year.

Steve you can bet this will go down to the wire, kinda reminds me of the battle Don Young and Chad Reveir had last year except it could be alot closer. I know there will be alot of growers watching the results come in this weekend you can bet I will be one of them!!!!

Steve I must admit that is a "SWEET" total 4,866#'s and he is the leader in the club house for the GOTY.

I will add that there are a few weigh-offs left and I know some guy by the name of Quinn isn't done weighing pumpkins yet. After all he does have 1,634 & 1,596#er in the books already and would need a 1636.5 to get it.

There is also Kevin Marsh making some noise with a 1,536 & 1,674#er needing 1,656.5#'s to take the lead.

This is very exciting and we will all be watching the last couple weeks to see how it plays out!!!!

I don't know whats out there but I would love to see Quinn bring a 1600 lbr to Oakland this Sunday. All I have to bring is a 500 lbr but it is enough to get me a good meal, nice T-shirt & some catching up with a few friends.

Can't argue with that Danny! Oakland puts on the best feed bag of any weighoff anywhere.
