The Circus Circus Hotel will be the site for the new & improved GPC spring seminar in 2012. That is right pumpkin growing enthusiasts the GPC is taking "THE BIG SHOW" to "THE BIG TOP" on the strip in beautiful Las Vegas Nevada.

The weekend will now be week long event with activities for the whole family, the formal sessions will start on Friday 2/24/2012 & conclude on Sunday 2/26/2011. We are still putting together our agenda with price structure but I will say we have rooms reserved for our group from 2/22/2011 - 2/28/2011.

Our focus is to make the seminar fun for the whole family or the single grower just trying to get away & learn. This made the Circus Circus Hotel a perfect fit for all of our hard working faithful.

We have a ton of savings for all who book under our reservation so please hold on for more information to come out soon. I will say the rooms start at $39 a night except for Friday & Saturday night they go to $79 a night based on double occupancy.

Sam this will be an independent GPC production, there will still be a seminar in Niagara as usual run solely by the Port Elgin Pumpkin Fest staff. The GPC wishes them well with their seminar in Niagara as they have always worked very hard to put it on.

In an effort to better serve all growers the GPC has decided it is time to move out on our own. We promise all who attend you will have all your top notch speakers with the latest products & techniques. The awards show will be bigger & better than ever Vegas style (Don is working on Vegas Show girls LOL). Plus a few new wrinkles to add variety & offer a better learning experience from the newbie to the seasoned veteran.

We will have much more coming soon so keep your eyes open for the registration package it will certainly be one heck of a value packed offer!!!!

These are 2 excellent points as the growers on the west coast have been asking for years to have a GPC event closer to them. The reason for Las Vegas is this gives a great "neutral" site for all the clubs & growers in that region of the world. It also has great airport accessibility, world class seminar facilities, & plenty to do in a warm weather climate.

We are also considering alternating sites moving the GPC seminar around to better serve all of our loyal growers. We have talked about many options including more North America sites, Europe, Asia, Australia - basically if the growers want it we will do what we can to accommodate them.

Count me in. My cousin just bought a house there and I have been playing a lot of poker on xbox, so I am looking for some real action at the tables. Now I am fertilizing my pumpkins a little bit more because of this. Lol
