So where are we at this year? Anyone keeping track?
Is this year's winner going to squeak by under 4500? It would sure seem possible.

chris early on i had an outside shot. my durham fair pumpkin weighed 1408.5 but my penfield pumpkin this past sunday went around 75 under what i was dreaming about ( lol ) at 1377. i have one left for frerichs this sat ( 1725 x 1725 sib ) its my biggest pumpkin and should get me around 4,200-4,300 top three pumpkin total. not good enough for goty but my gol all along was to win a gpc weigh-off ( i did ) and to get into the 4,000 pound club. hopefully mission will be accomplished.id be more than satisfied for sure either way? its the journey that matters most anyways. pap pap

Upon further review it appears the GOTY award may be a 2 horse race. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think anyone can catch these 2 based on what they may or may not have left lurking in the patch :)
Dave and Carol "1807.5" Stelts 3158.5
Quinn "Mr. Consistent" Werner 2999.3
I realize there will be at least a few more over 4000 of course. How exciting.

Chris I would have to say the front runners are in California, there are some big pumpkins that haven't been weighed yet.

I agree with Quinn & Vancouver if I was a betting man the GOTY will be going to Leonardo or some one from the left coast.

How's this for GOTY numbers, 1684. 1560, 1704, grown by California's Leonardo Urena for a fantastic total of 4948 lbs! Average weight of 1649.3 lbs! Pete
