The first ever GPC seminar in Las Vegas is completed & the entire Executive Committe would like to thank all who made the trip from the bottom of our hearts. It is because of the support you give this awesome hobby/sport that made this event such a success.
We are already planning on next year & hope we can get more growers there to share in the learning & fun. From the sounds of the committee you can expect a bigger better experience & truly a must see event!!!!
Getting to meet all the new growers & visit with our old friends made this a memorable experience for the entire committee.
Thank you for supporting the GPC, The Executive Committee

Fantastic job guys. And for those of you who were not at the seminar to hear the news, Dave's time as president of the GPC will expire on December 31st.
I just gotta say Dave, NICE JOB!!! As with any group with so many passionate people associated with it, there are bound to be growing pains. You, along with the rest of the committee, have handled success AND adversity with exceptional poise and I'm glad to know you.
Here's to a very successful growing season and may your last season as president be a fruitful one. I'm counting on seeing your new WR at Circleville!

I had never been to one of the GPC seminars but am glad that I did. My wife was with me and sick the whole time with acute bronchitis. Had to take her to the doctor and soon as the plane landed. We still enjoyed the trip but it would have been better had she not been sick. Nice job all of the GPC executive committee. Look forward to going again. Would like to see it in Vegas again. Easier to reach from here in Montana.

unless you have had experience running an organization-any organization, you just have little knowledge regarding the amount of work, dedication, and time away from doing other things that the position intails.same goes for others on the ex board as well.
it can be a very satisfying yet at times disapointing position to be in.especialy when your decisions are based on the greater good rather than just one or two individuals.
after eight years he deserves a break. i just hope the gpc continues to build in the future years. i suspect it will.
thanks dave for a fantastic job well done. see ya in hall of fame. sooner rather than later i expect.
