We would like to announce some changes to the GPC board. Andy Wolf is stepping down after completing a two year term as President. He has been a member of the GPC board for a total ten years, and served as Secretary prior to taking the role of President.
The board has unanimously voted to elevate Ian Paton to the position of President. Ian has served for seven years as a GPC representative and will make a great leader going forward.
Jim Sherwood and John Vincent have each hit the end of their eight years of service in the GPC, and we thank them for their countless hours volunteered. Taking over John's Canadian territory will be Todd Kline from Quebec. Jim's west coast will now be represented by Gary Miller from California. Both Todd and Gary are longtime, well respected growers and should prove valuable assets to the GPC.
Jim's position of Treasurer will now be handled by Glen Martin. Last but certainly not least, the position of Vice President will go to Gary "The Wiz" Grande.

having served on the board several years ago i have a hint of what these great people have sacrificed to benefit us and the hobby/sport we love so much.anyone serving in a volunteer organization would surely agree.
im very proud and thankful for the hard work and dedication andy-jim-john-put forth on our behalf for so many years. proud to call all my friends.
a word about the new members/positions of our directorship for those who do not know them
pres ian paton ----great human being-intelligent-loyal, great choice---his twin brother stewie is top shelf as well. vp- the wiz --- nuff said we all know and love him tres- glen martin ----none better than greenbay glen gary miller/todd kline---two long time heavy hitters with plenty of lifes experiences.great additions bar none.
lastly a word about this years gpc hall of fame inductee dave stelts. i have lovingly called dave a lot of names over the years bur "commander"seems to fit the best. he never found a situation he was unable to take charge of he never stopped working 24-7 for the g p c. his poor wife carol should have been inducted as well just for putting up with dave for those years of service. when its all said and done though? commander dave stelts and those retirees mentioned above? they took this gpc of ours from a 20+ site organization in 2005 to a 2016 site total of i believe 110 sites world wide. nuff said ---- thanks to all of you
