On 5/18, I posted a thread here titled who to contact about nominating someone for the Vine of Honor award. Kelly klinker responded with his email. I wrote to him and explained that I would like to nominate Marvin Mitchell and why I think he is deserving and have yet to hear anything back. With the convention coming up soon, I would like to know if my nomination was discussed and what the decision was. Can someone please either comment here or shoot me an email?

President - GPC

The GPC Committee will begin the end of year processes now that weigh offs are completing. Hall of Fame, and Vine of Honor will be discussed in our up coming meetings. For Vine of Honor the GPC decides candidates, we havent always had one per year, but we will consider your suggestion. Hall of Fame differs there where nominations are considered.

We are also number crunching now for all the statistics for the GPC. That's why its important to get all the weigh off data loaded up. The DEADLINE looms.
