Fellow Growers of the Great Pumpkin Commonwealth

Notice of Price Increase

Due to the increases in postage, ribbon and labor costs, has forced us to bump up the prices this year.
There will be a fifty dollar ($50) increase this year for both the Premium and Standard Weigh Off Award packages, changes are already in effect on the site registration website page. We will review again next year to determine if we need to adjust any further.

We would like to Thank All of our GPC sponsors for their donations and sponsorship that is vital to Mission of the Great Pumpkin Commonwealth and our participating growers. Expenses associated with The International Growers Convention (IGC), Growers Awards, Plaques, Coats and Shirts are all made possible by our sponsors and our growers who support those sponsors.

Furthermore, I would like to extend a BIG Thank You to the New York Botanical Gardens for their continued support to our organization and it's growers. Every year they reward 3 of our top growers and their spouses a 4 day all-expense paid, fun filled, fairy tale trip to New York City. The Botanical Garden wants the 3 biggest pumpkins available and the growers who grew them. This is in exchange for the opportunity for those top growers to display their fruits and receive national media recognition over the event filled weekend.
This year alone the harvesting of the seeds went viral on social media, the display of the fruits in the pool of floating pumpkins was a site to behold. To hear the roar of the crowd when the fruits were opened…the event was a giant success for our guests and their Garden visitors.
This would not have been possible without the support of our growers and our growing organizations. It is in the best interests of all to keep our continued partnership with the Botanical Gardens and keep us growing forward as the excess funds they provide support all participating growers in the Great Pumpkin Commonwealth.
