1 cup pumpkin from a can...don't ask me how to get pumpkin into a can...I don't know 1 cup sugar 1/2 cup oil 1 egg 2 cups flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. baking soda dissolved in 1 tsp. milk 1 tsp. vanilla 1 cup chocolate bits
combine pumpkin, sugar, oil, and egg. stir together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. add to pumpkin mixture along wuth baking soda and milk (now I know where the milk belongs in the pumpkin) add vanilla and stir in chocolate bits. drop with tsp. on greesed sheet. bake at 375 for 10 to 12 minutes
I know nothing about making these cookies, my job is to eat them. I can however tell you this, they are yummy and best when fresh. they don't live long here.
the note at the bottom says...made 30 cookies. I didn't count them but there is only 1 left.

We usually balance the pumpkin on the can just before going to bed. By morning the patch elephants have the work done for us.

These sound like a perfect match with vanilla ice cream.
Thanks Bart
