It's not very often that this happens, folks, but my wife was making a recipe that called for yams, and substituted pumpkin instead. She also changed some ingredients. The result will knock your socks off! I proclaim this the "Pumpkin recipe of the year!" Try it!
2 cups pumpkin puree (we use home grown) 2 eggs 1 cup sugar 1/2 cup margarine, melted 1/2 cup milk 2 tsp. vanilla
Mix together. place in 2 1/2 qt. casserole dish. Top with: 1 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup flour 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts 1/2 cup margarine, melted Mix these items together and sprinkle over pumpkin mixture. Bake at 350 for 1 hour. This makes an excellent side dish served warm, or can be eaten cold. A scoop of vanilla ice cream on top when it is warm makes a dessert to DIE for! This is good Shhhhh...Pumpkin!

Anything with a cup of margarine and a cup of brown sugar on top is gonna taste good. Sounds like a good recipe. Sevin application doesn't affect whether you can eat stuff does it? Tremor would say read the label.

I ate that makings. YUM YUM. Even had seconds! Kilr's place is a hoot. Worth the price of admission just for a peek. The only guy in America with a five foot long gord on the vine at this hour.. 'Ya gotta ask him how he pumped one up that big so fast. The secret may require an E. Maybe he would not like to give away his growing secret.
