Bloody Mary Juice
Yields:
1 quart
Ingredients:
5 cups chopped roma tomatoes ½ red sweet pepper ½ small onion chopped ½ clove garlic chopped 1 rib of celery with leaves ¼ teaspoon black pepper corns 1 to 3 Tabasco peppers ½ teaspoon coriander seeds ¼ bay leaf 2 or 3 sprigs parsley ¼ teaspoon crumbled dry basil leaves ¼ teaspoon dry mustard ½ to 1 ½ teaspoons grated horseradish ¾ teaspoon salt
Directions:
Wash the tomatoes and chop Add all the ingredients and boil until the vegetables are soft Remove bay leaf Process the mixture in a blender until smooth Strain the mixture to remove the seeds, spices and what’s left of the tomato skins or use a food processor Boil about 10 minutes Add the salt Freeze in canning jars
